Potted Cheese

Take 1/4 lb. butter, 1/2 lb. grated cheese, 2 eggs, pepper and salt, put butter in saucepan, when hot add cheese, pepper and salt, let it get very hot (not boiling), add eggs well beaten, and stir well.
