Trucks

In 1930 there were 11,358 trucks on Western Australian roads.  Over the next twenty years there was a huge increase in numbers with over 43,000 and by 1970 nearly 100,000 trucks were central to the road transport industry. Thirty years later there were 138,000 trucks and nearly 161,000 utes and panel vans on Western Australian roads.
