Regional Buildings continued

Using whatever materials were at hand, the types of housing used by prospectors and their families suggests much about the transient nature of their chosen lives in an often hostile environment.
With all of the wealth generated by the gold mining, the construction of permanent public buildings reflected the benefits to the State and stated a confidence in the future of places like Kalgoorlie.
