Suburban Dreams continued

The styles of housing built included Federation - popularized by architects like J.J. Talbot Hobbs.  The introduction of Marseilles red tiles in 1900 changed the look of suburban roof lines, rapidly replacing sheet-iron as the most common materials for roofing.
